NOTICE: Annual Steam Outage – HSC Campus

HSC Facilities, in coordination with our steam provider Vicinity, has scheduled the annual steam outage for the HSC Campus. Please see below for the list of affected buildings and the outage timeline.

Buildings Affected:

• HSC North

• HSC South

• Ruby POC

• Ruby Eye Institute

• Cancer Center

• Biomedical Building

• HSC Addition

• RNI

Outage Timeline:

• May 12, 2025: Steam will be shut off from 3:00 AM to 6:30 AM.

• From 6:30 AM on May 12 through 3:00 AM on May 20, the campus will operate on a rental boiler.

• May 20, 2025: Steam will again be shut off from 3:00 AM to 6:30 AM.

• Normal steam service will resume at 6:30 AM on May 20.
