What is Offered at WVU Student Health

Prevent seasonal illnesses.

The fall semester can be busy with gatherings, activities and extracurriculars. With increased cases of flu, RSV and strep throat, make sure to protect yourself to stay healthy this fall and winter.

Get vaccinated.

Vaccines for flu and COVID-19 are available at Student Health Services. Students can make an appointment to receive vaccines or visit an upcoming Flu Vaccine Clinic on campus.

Boost your immune system.

A healthy diet and regular sleep and exercise can help maintain a strong immune system to help prevent infection.

Stop the spread of illnesses.

Washing your hands can protect against germs. The CDC recommends using soap and water or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. When coughing or sneezing, use a tissue to cover your mouth and nose. Stay at home when you’re not feeling well.
