Session 1: Steps to a Competitive Application

Overview of the essential steps to complete and submit a grant application. The submission of proposals to the NIH will be used as examples and include an introduction to this federal agency and the grant review process.

10:00 am – 10:30 am (and an opportunity to meet informally with the speaker)

Session 2: Writing Effective Specific Aims: An Interactive Approach

10:30 am – 12 Noon

The essential elements of a compelling Specific Aims page. This is an interactive session where participants will draft key components for their specific aims with feedback from colleagues and the presenter.

Please note that individuals can attend any or all sessions. Open to biomedical researchers across West Virginia.
