Register for the Country Roads program fall open house

Learn more about the program designed for students with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

The fall open house for the Country Roads program will take place on Thursday, November 20, 2025. *Each attendee needs to submit this form, so if two parents and a child want to attend, all three should submit their own form.

Due to increased attendance for this event, we will no longer be able to accommodate large school groups. If you would like to bring a large group, please schedule a general campus tour with the WVU Visitor’s Center and contact Country Roads program manager Kayla Richard to set a time to talk about the program specifically. These reservations should be made at least a month in advance.

The Country Roads program is an on-campus program designed for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. The goal of the program is to prepare students with disabilities for independence by providing academic courses, social engagement, and real-world work experiences. Students live in a shared residential housing arrangement, participate in social activities across campus, and receive career education and training.

We hope that you will join us at our open house to learn more about the University, Country Roads program, admissions process, curriculum, students, and more!

REGISTER for the fall open house.

For questions prior to the event contact program manager Kayla Richard at kayla.richard@hsc.wvu.edu.
