Facilities Alert: Water line repair scheduled for Sat., Feb. 22

WVU Health Sciences Facilities completed a temporary repair to an 8” water line near parking area 80 on Monday, Feb. 10 and will be making the permanent repair on Saturday, Feb. 22 beginning at 6 a.m. The roadway leading from the construction area to the lower section of parking area 80 will remain closed during the duration of the repair and will reopen the week of Feb. 24.

While we do not anticipate a loss of water in the building, there is a chance for decreased water pressure during the repair process. This should be temporary with limited impact on the facility based on preparation and reduced water consumption on a weekend day.

The HSC Facilities team is working with a contractor to have everything ready to proceed on this date, but if any circumstances arise to hinder this plan, communication will be distributed immediately.
