WVU Health Sciences celebrates doctoral researchers at induction ceremony

West Virginia University Health Sciences hosted its annual Research Induction and Awards Ceremony on Sept. 19, 2025, to recognize doctoral students who have completed their core coursework, identified a faculty mentor, and are officially beginning their graduate research journey.

Among those honored were the following public health researchers:

Jordan Ceglar - Social and Behavioral Sciences
Megan Garland - Social and Behavioral Sciences
Sweta Mahato - Social and Behavioral Sciences
Jayne Harris Esposito - Epidemiology
Saadiah Khan - Epidemiology

Congratulations to all the inductees as they embarking on this exciting new phase of their academic careers and take an important step forward in advancing health research!
