‘Most Loyal’ honorees selected for WVU Mountaineer Week

West Virginia University is a vibrant community of dedicated Mountaineers who display their pride in a variety of ways. Each year during Mountaineer Week, WVU recognizes a select group of Mountaineers who go above and beyond to positively impact the lives of others and make the University a special place. The 2023 “Most Loyal” recipients are faculty members, staff, alumni and friends who share one thing in common — their love for WVU.

WVU School of Public Health leadership updates

Dr. Jeffrey H. Coben, dean of West Virginia University’s School of Public Health, will step down from the dean position he has held since May 2017, effective Nov. 1. He will remain on faculty with the Schools of Public Health and Medicine and continue to support the operations of the Health Affairs Institute in his role as associate vice president.
