Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship applications now open
The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship applications are now open for the March 2024 deadline. This is a national scholarship that pays up to $5,000 (or $8,000 for critical languages!) towards a study abroad program of a student's choice.

West Virginia University has released its Fall 2023 Dean’s and President’s lists, as well as the full list of graduates for the fall semester. A total of 7,418 students earned honors during the fall.

WVU Day at the Legislature focuses on opportunity in Mountain State
Visitors can interact with a robot from the WVU Robotics program, learn how to operate fire extinguishers from WVU Extension Occupational Safety and Health, and see a heartbeat demonstration from the WVU School of Nursing program. WVU Jackson’s Mill will present activities in rope bracelet making, food waste prevention and outdoor education. Additionally, the Mountaineer mascot will greet guests and take photos.
Beckley students engage in art, video activities while learning nursing concepts
Students at the WVU School of Nursing Beckley Campus had the opportunity at the end of the fall semester to engage in fun activities to review their nursing knowledge and skills, such as art projects and creating TikTok videos.
