Mindfulness Coach workshop accepting applications
The West Virginia University Office of Health Affairs Mindfulness-Bases Resilience Training program is now accepting applications for a Mindfulness Coach training and workshop. This intensive training is designed for frontline health care workers and law enforcement personnel looking to gain the skills necessary to build a sustainable mindfulness training infrastructure within West Virginia.
WV STEPS Center receives continued support from Shaw gift
The gift provides continued support for the Shaw STEPS Center, which has transformed health sciences education at WVU through experiential learning. The additional dollars will boost robotics resources and cross-disciplinary collaboration to ensure graduates are prepared to meet the latest demands of a career in health care.

New certificate acceptance required to connect to WVU.Encrypted after Thursday
To connect any mobile device to the WVU.Encrypted or eduroam wireless networks after 7 a.m. Thursday (July 21) you will need to accept a new security certificate. This DigiCert certificate is safe to install and will only need to be accepted once.
Mountaineer Card services at HSC expanding Monday, July 25 to include smart card production
WVU Information Technology Services will expand ID card services provided at the current HSC Service Center on Monday, July 25 to better accommodate Health Sciences Center employees and students. This will eliminate the need to travel to other locations when you need a new, chipped “smart” card.
