West Virginia University Police has been alerted by Morgantown Police to multiple reports of theft and fraud related to cell phones and mobile payment apps in recent days.

As a native of the Beckley area, Richmond eagerly enrolled at the WVU School of Nursing Beckley Campus after graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School. She was progressing well through the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program until she started having some medical issues in late 2019. She was a first semester senior at the time.

Three WVU School of Nursing faculty members attended the Mountaineer Middle School’s Career Day to showcase their profession and encourage the students to consider nursing as a career. Held March 17, the event welcomed sixth, seventh and eighth grade students to explore future career opportunities. Dr. Ann Hendrickson, Dr. Beth Minchau, and Dr. Heather Carter-Templeton represented the School of Nursing at the event.
