PREP (Pipeline Rural Education Program) 2025 Application Now Open
The PREP (Pipeline Rural Education Program) application is open now through October 1, 2025. PREP, an initiative of the WVU Institute for Community and Rural Health, introduces WVU undergraduate students to pathways into rural healthcare professions.
Sensory reset wellness event set for Sept. 17
BeWell, in collaboration with WELLWVU and WV STEPS David and Jo Ann Shaw Simulation Training and Education for Patient Safety Center, will host Sensory Reset: Achieving Wellness Using All Five Senses from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, in the Health Sciences Center Pylons Commons.
Install Okta Verify now to avoid disruptions and be ready for retirement of Duo
WVU will soon replace the Duo Mobile multi-factor authentication app with Okta Verify, and Information Technology Services recommends that students install the new app as soon as possible to avoid disruptions. Don’t delete the Duo app yet, though. You will still need it for access to some WVU applications until Oct. 1.
WVU offers intensive Simulation Certificate Program with Continuing Education credits available
West Virginia University will offer a three-day Simulation Certificate Program, October 8-10, 2025, at the WVU Health Sciences Center in Morgantown, West Virginia. Interested participants can discover more information and register on the program's conference site. Continuing Education credits are offered through WVU's Office of Continuing Medical Education.
