WVU names 2022 Foundation Scholars
Focused on discovery and finding creative solutions to the issues that have commanded the attention of their generation, five rising freshmen have been named to the 2022-23 cohort of West Virginia University Foundation Scholars, the highest academic scholarship the University awards.

“As nurses, we know a diagnosis of Gender Dysphoria—a disconnect between the gender a person identifies as and the gender assigned at birth—can be very distressing,” Smothers said. “This training is a way to build supportive communities for our gender diverse friends.”

The Health Sciences & Technology Academy (HSTA) is sponsoring a Community Health & Wellness Expo on Sunday, April 24 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. outside the WVU Student Recreation Center.

1994 dental school graduate chosen to speak at World Dental and Oral Health Congress
Congratulations to West Virginia University School of Dentistry 1994 graduate Dr. Suzie Bergman. The International Fellow of the World Dental Council has been chosen to speak at the World Dental and Oral Health Congress in Chennai, India in August.
