WV Health Care Decisions Act undergoes major revisions
For the first time in 20 years, the West Virginia Health Care Decisions Act has undergone a major revision. The new version of the WV Health Care Decisions Act (SB 470) becomes effective June 7, 2022 and requires all healthcare facilities to update the forms they provide to patients no later than January 1, 2023.

During the first full week of April each year, the American Public Health Association brings together communities across the United States to observe National Public Health Week as a time to recognize the contributions of public health and highlight issues that are important to improving our nation's health. This year's theme is "Public Health is Where You Are."
