WVU undergraduate researchers showcase work for lawmakers in Charleston
Undergraduate researchers from West Virginia University showcased their work at the State Capitol in Charleston Friday (Feb. 18), giving lawmakers a glimpse of the work they do in disease-carrying insects, the weather’s effect on renewable energy resources and the economic potential of petunias—just a few of the topics addressed by 49 presenters from WVU’s Morgantown and Beckley campuses.

The 6th Annual "Champagne for SANEs (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners)" is set for Thursday, April 28 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Table 9 on the Wharf in Morgantown.
WVU student nurses join “Nurses Day at the Legislature”
Nurses were invited Feb. 10 to the West Virginia State Capitol to meet with legislators, attend committee meetings and get to know nursing policy leaders during “Nurses Day at the Capitol.” Several West Virginia University School of Nursing students attended the event, including Jenna Wermers and Ateria Walker, who are members of the WVU Student Nurses Association.
Nursing, occupational therapy students learn skills, collaboration through interdisciplinary partnership
