School of Nursing student becomes Gift of Life campus ambassador
Cameron Kurtz, a senior in the West Virginia University School of Nursing, recently became a campus ambassador for Gift of Life Marrow Registry, a nonprofit stem cell and bone marrow registry facilitating life-saving transplants for patients with blood cancers and disorders.
Transitional Care course set for Aug. 1-26
The WVU School of Nursing will offer Transitional Care for Faith Community Nurses, an all online course that is designed to provide faith community nurses with background knowledge on the needs of community members who are in the process of transitioning in care.
Pick ‘WVU-recommended’ computers from Dell in Mountaineer Marketplace and skip IT Purchase Request
Faculty and staff purchasing new computers and peripheral equipment through the Dell contract in Mountaineer Marketplace no longer need to submit an IT Purchase Request if the item is labeled “WVU Recommended.”
