Dental hygiene senior manages oral cancer screening event
Students chosen to be site managers of a dental hygiene community service event are responsible for coordinating the overall event including managing other volunteers, working to market the event and having the necessary instrumentation and tools needed for the event.

Music, dance and food were the paths to explore different cultures, engage in discussions that bring new perspectives, and celebrate the presence of, and contributions made by, people of all identities and experiences.
Dental and dental hygiene students begin direct patient care
To mark the transition from classroom to clinic, students and their families celebrate with a clinic induction ceremony that includes receiving their white coats which symbolize a cloak of compassion reminding students that proper treatment must be delivered with empathy and care.
