WVU School of Nursing alum wins prestigious APP Rising Star Award
Brenna Lansden, APRN-CNP, IBCLC, a nurse practitioner at WVU Medicine Cheat Lake Physicians and WVU School of Nursing alum, has been named the Advanced Practice Providers (APP) Rising Star award winner for 2024. The honor recognizes her exceptional impact on patient care and her profession in just three years of advanced practice.
WVU in the News: First-time NCLEX pass rates soar for WVU Nursing students
Across all WVU School of Nursing campus locations, the 2024 graduates have earned an average 99% first-time pass rate on their National Council Licensure Examination - Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN), the nationwide licensing examination for registered nurses.
Mindful Steps Part 2 begins Thursday, Jan. 23.
Mindful Steps Part 2 is a six-week intermediate class that expands on the topics of the intro Mindful Steps series. The class is on Thursdays from Jan. 23 to Feb. 27 from Noon to 1 p.m. on Zoom.
