The West Virginia University School of Dentistry now offers robotic-assisted implant procedures that are, in some cases, quicker than conventional methods and in certain circumstances can be less painful than traditional procedures and help reduce recovery time.

NIH grant aims to develop new drug to treat acute arthritis
The National Institutes of Health has awarded a $1.5 million Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grant jointly to a small West Virginia-based business ExesaLibero Pharma and West Virginia University, as its primary academic partner, to continue developing a new drug to treat acute arthritis.
