Join us Sept. 14 for the Virtual Pink Party
The annual Pink Party benefits Bonnie’s Bus, which has provided more than 20,000 mammograms to West Virginia women since 2009, many of whom are uninsured and unable to cover the cost of a mammogram otherwise. 110 women and counting have been diagnosed with breast cancer following a screening on the Bus. Although the world has changed in 2020, Bonnie's Bus keeps rolling and the need for its services continues to grow. This year, out of an abundance of caution, the decision has been made to host The Pink Party virtually. Fellow supporters and friends of the WVU Cancer Institute can safely support Bonnie's Bus and the women of West Virginia remotely, all while enjoying a fully interactive experience including special presentations, contests, and auction.

Students can feel at home and succeed at WVU through host of support services at start of the new academic year
As students adjust to new norms brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic this semester, both academically and socially, West Virginia University has support services in place for undergraduate students who may have been disproportionately affected by the changes, including students with disabilities, first generation students and others from underrepresented populations. The Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the LGBTQ+ Center and Student Support Services/TRIO are some of the many units across campus that are committed to ensuring students feel safe, included and supported as they return to campus this fall.
