We are three pediatric infectious disease specialists who live and work in West Virginia. The West Virginia University Health System serves 400,000 children and according to our internal data, to date, 2,520 children up to 17 years of age have been tested for the coronavirus. Sixty-seven of them tested positive, and one became sick enough to be admitted to the hospital.
Six WVU Medicine hospitals recognized by U.S. News & World Report
Six WVU Medicine hospitals – four member hospitals and two managed hospitals – have been recognized in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals 2020-21. This year’s rankings also include the WVU Medicine Urology Program’s fourth consecutive national ranking, and WVU Medicine J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital’s designation as the number one hospital in the state.
Gee announces phased return to Morgantown campus in letter to WVU community
