Gov. Justice announces statewide indoor face covering requirement
After West Virginia experienced its highest daily total of new COVID-19 cases over the weekend, Gov. Justice announced Monday that he has issued an executive order that will establish a statewide indoor face covering requirement.
WVU Medicine offering COVID-19 testing in Morgantown
WVU Medicine is continuing to offer COVID-19 testing at its outpatient center at University Town Centre in Morgantown. The testing at this location is not free; a provider’s order is required to be tested.

Athletics Postpones Men's Basketball Workouts
The West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, in consultation with its medical officials, has today postponed the start of men's basketball team workouts for 14 days following the most recent COVID-19 test results.
WVU students testing positive for COVID-19 confirmed
Monongalia County Health Department and West Virginia University were notified that 13 new cases were reported today (July 2) with at least 10 WVU students who have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
