WVU Medicine Children’s receives grant to improve lifestyles
WVU Medicine Children’s has been awarded a $366,000 grant by the National Institutes of Health’s Environmental influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) Program to implement a lifestyle improvement intervention study for children with a high body mass index.

Recent graduates follow passion for global health
Many students choose to study public health because they want to make a difference in the world. For some graduates, that may include returning to their hometown to help patients at the local hospital navigate the healthcare system. For others, it might mean traveling the United States to provide expertise during natural disasters. For two recent graduates of the West Virginia University School of Public Health, making a difference in the world will take them across the globe.

WVU announces fall returning plan; requires mandatory COVID testing and masks to be worn on campus
West Virginia University has announced that mandatory testing will occur for all students, faculty and staff before returning to campus.
