Logan County nurse builds access to care with WVU School of Nursing training
Keri Workman, a registered nurse (RN) based in Logan County, is making a significant impact in her community by building nurse-led access to care points. Workman recently completed the Foundations of Faith Community Nursing training program offered by the WVU School of Nursing through the Westberg Institute.
Review Facilities Management work order request and emergency repair processes
The Health Sciences Campus will now begin utilizing the Facilities Service Desk portal for work requests, which is a new process for this campus as the Health Sciences Facilities Management team works to synchronize its operations with the central Facilities Management team.

Walk, run or relax event benefiting WVU Headache Center to be held in October
Miles for Migraine will host its annual 5K run and two-mile walk at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct.12, at Hazel Ruby McQuain Park in Morgantown. The virtual event, in which participants can walk/run at their own pace and on their own schedule, will be held Oct. 10-14.
Instructions provided for Early Semester Course Feedback (ESCF) and Student Perception of Teaching (SPOT)
As approved by a vote of the Faculty Senate, the optional early semester course feedback tool (ESCF) as well as the required new student perception of teaching (SPOT) will be implemented in fall 2024.
STEPS hosting CHSE blueprint review course during Healthcare Simulation Week
STEPS will hold a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator blueprint review course on Monday, Sept. 16, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Chancellor’s Office Conference Room (HSC South 1000) as part of Healthcare Simulation Week.
