Veterans' mental health expert to join WVU

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – A researcher with wide experience in veterans’ mental health and suicide prevention will be the new leader of West Virginia University’s Injury Control Research Center (ICRC).

Friends in the Journey seeks volunteers

Friends in the Journey is looking for volunteers to be mentors to individuals aged 18 and over. This is a program of The Connecting Link, Inc., implementing the Trusted Mentor Model. Friends in the Journey use the power of mentoring to help adults establish stable lives by reducing chaos brought about by poverty, homelessness, under-employment and the effects of incarceration. All our mentees are housed and are referred to  Friends in the Journey by our partnering agencies.
