School of Public Health welcomes new communications specialist
On May 18, the School of Public Health and University Relations-Health Sciences welcomed their newest employee, Kayla Gagnon. Kayla joins the team as a communications specialist, serving as lead multimedia producer and social media coordinator, as well as a collaborator across the school for marketing and news products and other communication materials as needed.

School of Nursing senior appointed director for Camp Kesem at WVU
Ty Flynn, a senior in the West Virginia University School of Nursing, has been appointed as director for WVU’s Camp Kesem, an on-campus student organization that works with the National Kesem mission of being a child’s friend through and beyond their parent or guardian’s cancer.
Steam outage planned for Health Sciences Campus
The Facilities Management team is working with WVU’s steam provider on a planned steam outage for the Evansdale campus May 21-28 and June 3-7. An additional outage will affect the Health Sciences campus on June 3.
