Beginning on June 1, 2022, the WVCTSI Clinical Trials Center of Excellence (CT COE) will implement two required fees to ensure the compliant and efficient conduct of clinical trials at West Virginia University.

Statewide partnership provides Mental Health First Aid
The West Virginia Collegiate Initiative to Advance Healthy Campus Communities and WVU will sponsor a free two-day, online Mental Health First Aid training from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 1 and 2. Video tribute planned for armed forces, frontline workers
This year’s American Freedom Tribute XI presented by the Gene Vance Jr. Foundation for the Catastrophically Injured will be broadcast Saturday, May 21. New tool developed by WVU researchers makes it easier to identify pregnant patients with eating disorders
Although rapid screening tools exist to help doctors identify patients with eating disorders, none have been developed and verified for use with pregnant patients specifically. That’s a problem because, when pregnancy and disordered eating intersect, unique experiences can arise. A team of WVU researchers—led by Elizabeth Claydon, an assistant professor in the School of Public Health—are pursuing a solution.
