Financial Incentives
Most financial incentive programs are offered through the State of West Virginia and the federal government.
These programs typically provide cash awards to healthcare professionals who commit to practicing for a set period of time in a primary care setting located in a rural or underserved area of the state. In many cases, the funds must be applied toward student loan repayment.
