Eligibility
Medical Primary Care physicians (MD, DO), nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, and physician assistants practicing family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, geriatrics or mental health
Dental Primary Care dentists (DDS, DMD) and dental hygienists practicing family/general, pediatric or geriatric
Mental and Behavioral Health Primary Care psychiatrists (MD, DO), health service psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, licensed professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, psychiatric nurse specialists, mental health nurse practitioners, and mental health physician assistants
Practice Sites
Practice obligation must be completed at a National Health Service Corp approved site, which includes federally qualified health centers
Amount Available
Up to $50,000 for 2-year full time commitment or 4-year half-time commitment
Funding based on Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) score (14+ and 0-13)
Practice obligations may not be served concurrently
