The Chancellor’s Awards Committee is now accepting nominations. The awards are an opportunity to honor and recognize employees at WVU Health Sciences. The deadline has been extended to May 31.

Harnessing creativity and determination while classrooms and extracurricular activities were upended by the pandemic, the newest cohort of Bucklew Scholars has forged new paths to begin a journey at West Virginia University focused on discovery and finding creative solutions to the issues that have commanded the attention of its generation.
Volunteers needed for Health Disparity Simulation
Students from the WVU Reed College of Media have been developing a Health Disparity Simulation using a Transform This! Challenge Grant in collaboration with students and professionals from the Health Sciences Campus. The simulation will be piloted on April 20, and the planning team is in need volunteers to help fill the various roles.

WVU, Monongalia County Health Department announce April COVID-19 testing and vaccine clinic schedules
Due to increased demand as a result of U.S. Food and Drug Administration authorization of a second booster dose of either the Pfizer or the Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for older people and certain immunocompromised individuals, WVU and the Monongalia County Health Department are extending hours of the two planned community COVID-19 vaccine clinics in April.
