‘Park and Pray’ event will be held to support WVU Medicine employees, first responders
Community members are invited to pray for front-line workers (WVU Medicine employees and first responders) while following social distancing guidelines at an interfaith, non-denominational prayer gathering to be held at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, in the parking lots located directly in front of WVU Medicine J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.
WVU to hold online commencement ceremonies Saturday
While West Virginia University’s 4,500-member Class of 2020 will graduate in various states and countries instead of Morgantown and in one ceremony instead of more than a dozen, graduates will be connected to each other and to Mountaineers around the world in WVU’s first virtual commencement ceremony.
