Occupational Exposure to Chemicals (Self-Reported)
The tables and graphs on this page (links below) represent the summary of results for self-reported occupational exposure to chemicals collected via the Health Questionnaire as part of the C8 Health Project. They are presented by industry type, and, for a limited number of chemicals or chemical groups, exposure to some types of chemicals as well. For each industry or chemical exposure group, participants were asked if they believed they were exposed to chemicals in that group. Please note that industry types, chemical exposures, and the presence or absence of an exposure were self reported survey data by participants and were not independently verified.
Actual perfluorocarbon serum levels, such as "C8", were measured.
All graphs and tables were prepared by the WVU School of Medicine and are copyrighted.
