We are excited to help you move your website content into our modern, cloud-based content management system, Umbraco, or to build a website that represents a new unit, program, initiative, or marketing campaign.  

This checklist will help you, as our client, and our team work together to meet the goals and objectives of moving website content or building a new website.  

Estimated Timeline for Moving Content to a New Website or Creating a New Website 

Scenarios: 

• Client requests a new website. 

• Client content is identified by HSC web services to begin the process for moving to the new CMS, Umbraco Cloud. 

  • Exploratory work – audit, content worksheet, 2-3 weeks 

  • Staging site and access set-up – 1-2 weeks 

  • Move or add content to new site – 4-12 weeks depending on size and scope 

  • Review process - 2-3 weeks  

  • Post launch check-in – 2-3 weeks after launch 

• Total time from concept to launch is approximately 10-24 weeks.

Timeframes are subject to change based on the complexity and scope of the project.
